Co in search for something new to conquer, so maybe we'll finally learn just what her next project is. Arrow. More game- changing returns After revealing that Katie Cassidy is returning for the season five finale as Black Siren (and staying on as a series regular for season six), Arrow announced that two more major characters are coming back to reprise their roles. Star Stephen Amell revealed on Twitter that Manu Bennett, who played major villain Slade Wilson/Deathstroke for multiple seasons, will also be back in the season finale. Desperate times call for desperate measures. Welcome back @manubennett," Amell tweeted, before executive producer Marc Guggenheim confirmed the news and shared a photo of Deathstroke suited up on set.
However, Bennett caused some confusion by then tweeting, "For the record – I'm not going back for Arrow! Does Bennett mean that Slade isn't going to be after Oliver Queen, but instead helping Oliver take down season- five big bad Prometheus (Josh Segarra)?
That would certainly explains Amell's words that "desperate times call for desperate measures" as Oliver and Team Arrow have so far been unable to do anything except reveal Prometheus' identity as District Attorney Adrian Chase to Star City. Because there's no way Bennett meant he's not coming back for the show itself, since the star, showrunner and network already confirmed the news of his return to be true. But that's not all. Guggenheim then tweeted that Katrina Law will also be reprising her role as Nyssa al Ghul for multiple episodes concluding in the season five finale. And of course, you can't have two al Ghul sisters without them going head- to- head, so Nyssa will find herself going up against her sister Talia (Lexa Doig) in one epic fight in the finale. Since Oliver just learned that Talia, who helped train him to become the Green Arrow, also helped train Chase to become Prometheus out of revenge for Oliver killing her father Ra's al Ghul (Matt Noble), it sounds like Oliver may be calling in some help with Nyssa for some good ol' family "counseling." After all, the enemy of your enemy is your friend. EW first reported the news.
Arrow also revealed Thursday that recurring favorites Rick Gonzalez and Juliana Harkavy will be promoted to series regulars for season six. More on that here. Gotham. Not so fast While Gotham's showrunners have expressed their interest in introducing an early "forerunner" of DC Comics favorite Harley Quinn on the Fox drama, don't expect to see the Joker's (Cameron Monaghan) sidekick just yet. While executive producer John Stephens revealed at the Winter TCA press tour that he had plans to "see that in episode 2. Executive producer Danny Cannon shed more light on the Harley Quinn of it all at Wonder.
Con to Screener. TV, saying, “That’s a character we’ve always wanted to have. It’s a lot of people’s favorite character, but the age problem was always going to be there.” Since Gotham is centered around a teenage version of Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz), and Harley Quinn was a psychiatrist before the Joker corrupts her, at this age she'd be a promising medical student with no hints of her future villainy.
Unless Gotham wanted to fudge with the timeline and age her up to her psychotic future self, the only way to introduce her right now would be as a normal person, and that's not what Harley Quinn fans want to see. The Flash. Iris' last chance While Iris (Candice Patton) has been stepping up to deal with her impending death in dynamic, emotional ways on The Flash, Patton reveals that her biggest ally right now is her fiancé Barry (Grant Gustin). Obviously Barry is going to be fighting for her the most, since he is madly in love with this woman," Patton tells THR. He will literally do anything to prevent it from happening. Hopefully he can figure out a way. Right now, I'm not seeing that, but there's still a few more scripts I haven't seen, so I'm a little worried.
But hopefully Team Flash can figure it out in the last moment and figure out a way to save her."Legends of Tomorrow. New romance next season? Season two ended on quite a wild note, with the Legends time- traveling to the present only to find they've "broken" time itself, with dinosaurs roaming the streets of a major city in 2. So while potential romance may be the last thing on all the Legends' minds at the beginning of season three, star Caity Lotz definitely wants to see some love on the Waverider moving forward. "There have been a lot of flings for Sara this season, which have been fun," Lotz tells THR. But it's hard to have a relationship when you live on a time ship.
